We had a long discussion with Chantal, the founder. A vibrant, captivating personality who touched us as much with her story as with her authenticity and natural kindness. Since childhood, Chantal has been fascinated by love stories and princess tales. Her father, a theater teacher, gave classes in the family barn. She grew up surrounded by stage sets, playing in this world where her imagination could blossom.

Driven by her creativity, she also loved decorating nature, transforming each place into a magical setting. This is perhaps where her sense of detail, her flair for scenography, and her ability to create unique atmospheres were born.

Later, Chantal continued to orchestrate other productions: first bridal fashion shows, then wedding fairs, and increasingly ambitious events in Paris and abroad. Event planning became her true vocation: imagining, designing, and bringing to life exceptional moments.

The turning point? Planning her own wedding. That’s when she realized what was missing: support that combined expertise with a truly human touch. From this personal experience, Fée des Caraïbes was born. With a simple mission: to offer future newlyweds attentive listening, seamless organization, and boundless creativity.

Today, with over 35 years of experience in event planning, including 20 years dedicated to weddings, Chantal and her team orchestrate bespoke weddings in Saint-Martin and throughout the Caribbean. With her American branch, As You Wish Destination, she also supports American and Canadian clients. Beyond expertise, the philosophy is clear: details make the difference, emotions are the real magic, and every couple deserves a wedding that reflects who they are.

The day Chantal crossed the Caribbean to save weddings

Client satisfaction is a top priority for Fée des Caraïbes. As you know, a wedding is a journey planned well in advance so that every detail is perfectly orchestrated. Chantal and her team know this by heart.

A wedding in the Caribbean is a unique experience. But sometimes, nature has its own plans. In 2017, when Hurricane Irma devastated the island of St Martin / St Maarten, the team had to roll up their sleeves. From island to island, Chantal set out in search of the most beautiful venues to honor weddings that had originally been planned in St Martin. Magic happened: one wedding took place in the Bahamas, another in the Cayman Islands.
